121 Faith is a spirit-filled pioneer church located in Bloomington, Indiana. We have a mission of building faith one life at a time, and it is our desire to see every person born of the Spirit, filled with the Spirit, and then led by the Spirit, as they walk in their God-given spiritual giftings. We want to cultivate an atomosphere where you will experience God's presence in worship, spiritually grow from the Word each week, and come together as a family in Christ.

BORN OF THE SPIRIT: The Salvation of Man
Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT: The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian church. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.
LED BY THE SPIRIT: The Church and Its Mission
The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her Great Commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven.
Visiting a church for the first time can be very intimidating. You have so many questions, and we want to put you at ease and try and answer them before you make the first step to visit us in person.
How do I dress?
-We do not have a certain dress code at 121 Faith. All of us have different styles, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. The only thing we ask is that you do dress modestly.
Where do I park?
-We have two different parking lot areas. One parking lot area is directly in front of the building. We are also allowed to use parking in front of other businesses adjacent to our building in the same parking lot. Another parking lot is located right at the intersection of Fairfax and S. Old State Rd. 37, which is just a short walk across the street from our church building.
What are your services like?
-We are a spirit-filled church, and we may tend to get a little charasmatic at times. Our music and worship style is more contemporary; however, we do like to throw in a variety of different styles from time to time, including that of gospel or maybe even a few hymns.
-We do believe in outward praise, i.e., clapping, lifting of hands, and at times you will even see a little bit of dancing.
-There will always be an opportunity for prayer. We do believe in laying on of hands by the elders, as well as praying for one another.
-We do believe that the gifts of the spirit are still for today, so there will always be room for the Holy Spirit to move as He leads.
-You will hear a timely message by Pastor John, as he is always seeking for a Word from God to deliver to the people each week.
Will I feel welcome?
-It is our desire to make every one who walks through our door feel welcomed! Every person has a unique gifting from God, and we look forward to connecting with everyone. You will be greeted at the door, as well as during our service by many.
Do I have to give in the offering?
-We will not force anyone to give during this time of the service; you are welcome regardless. We look at giving as an opportunity to be blessed by God. If you do choose to give in the offering, we offer two different ways of giving: 1) Put your offering in the "Offering/Prayer Box" located at the back of the church, 2) Give online at 121faith.org.
Do you have a children's ministry?
-Yes! We currently have Children's Church on Sunday mornings for children ages 3-9, dismissed following our morning worship service. Your children are very important to us, and we don't just want to offer you a babysitting service, but we want to equip your children as the next generation in Christ. It is our goal to continue to expand our children's ministry as we grow.
Do you have a nursery?
-Yes, we have a staffed nursery available during both of our Sunday services for children agest 0-2.
What do I do if it's my first time?
-If it's your first time visiting 121 Faith, you will be greeted personally, and given a bulletin when you enter the church at the beginning of service. In this bulletin, there is a section for you to fill out some simple information about yourself. You can put this filled out form in the Offering/Prayer box before you leave. We have a Keurig machine available, if you would like to have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. We hope you enjoy our services, and feel free to participate in our corporate worship!
